Heart Health Info
The following materials have given me insight into the “disease” (I hate that word!) and have brought many changes to my life in the recent past. We all have a responsibility to improve our own lives; by reading and gaining knowledge from many different points of view, I have been able to shift my thinking to a more positive approach to Life and Health. My hope is that you will too!
1. “The Great Cholesterol Lie” – Dr. Dwight Lundell is a Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgeon with 25 years of pioneering experience in helping others correct and maintain a health heart state. He offers quite a different look on the customary prescribing of statins and their effect on our health. Cholesterol can be good, and we each have a responsibility to find out why, and how, to understand how it works in our bodies.
2. “Crunch Cholesterol: Safe, Natural Secrets for High Cholesterol” – Not interested in taking statins to reduce your cholesterol, due to the side effects and possible health concerns? Health Consultant and long-time researcher Colin Carmichael presents quite another view of cholesterol and what’s needed to “knock it down.”
3. “The Patient’s Guide To Heart Valve Surgery” - Adam Pick was diagnosed in 2005 with severe stenosis and regurgitation in the aortic valve. Learn of his struggle to get information – interviews with cardiologists, nurses, and over 70 patients, and his ultimate success and recovery in this insightful documentation of the process.
4. “Average Joe Fitness Program” – Many of us know we need to be in better shape, have more stamina and more energy. Ryan Romeo lays it out for you, and at a bargain price, so that you can begin your cardio training without a gym, expensive membership or equipment. It’s worth taking a look at – even for couch potatoes!
